  As the development of chemical industry has been penetrated and connected with related fields in science and technologies,pipeline transporting technology have become more and more”chemical”during the last 20 years,which makes more kinds of advanced or specific transporting technology and execution(such as transportation of waxy crude oil with low throughput,the temporary increasing transportation in pipelines,and the paraffin control/paraffin removal)rely on chemical additives to achieve.For continually higher requirements of chemical additives are demanded by transporting technique,their applications and improvements has been gradually evolved to a complicated system engineering,which refers to quite a few of subjects.

Pour Point Depressant,hereinafter referred to as PPD,is a chemical additive consisting of high molecular polymer and generally used to improve the fluidity(flow property)of waxy oils by reducing its pour point and viscosity,which can improve the oil’s fluidity in low temperature.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

CNPC No. 9AM will be stable and keep its potency for three years if stored in ventilated, dry place within the temperature range of -10℃ ~ +50℃ in the tightly sealed container.
Standard pumps and mild steel containers can be used for injection. Note the pump seal must be resistant to aromatic solvents.
